Our Story
Alright folks, it's time to enlighten all of you with our short story. We met on Tinder (no judgment, pleeeease) in June 2021 as any other normal young couple :). Explored the intricacies of online dating in our 40s on Tinder. These are the distinctive Tinder photos that prompted us to swipe right instantly.
Chatting for hours for weeks, Daniel lived in Gross-Basel and Anu lived in Klein-Basel. So what did we do? We planned to meet halfway at Dreirosen Bridge.
Finally, technology-built butterflies turned into reality. The first meeting led to the second, third, and fourth; living together after 9 months; a baby after 2 years; a house; and finally our wedding. Everything happened so fast forward that even we did not realize it ourselves. Looking back, it feels like half a lifetime.
At the end here we are going strong as a mixed-race patch family with different skin tones, different cultures, traditions, half vegetarians, and half meat lovers. A funny mixture of life and destiny.
We could not be more thrilled for this next chapter of our life together to begin and are so excited to celebrate with family and friends on 25th October 2025.
